I have owned my Joseph Audio 7 Signatures for many years, and still love them. I bought them after auditioning many different bookshelf speakers. Prior to the Josephs, I owned a pair of B&W 302s. Hard to beat for the price.

Infinity Primus 150. I travel a lot and I take these with me on the road. Love them and they can be had online for about $60/ea.

Linn Kan I have two pairs of Kans. I have had a number of other, bigger speakers, but I always come back to the Kans. Drive them with a very good amp, add a (Linn) subwoofer to them, and they are very hard to beat.

Paradigm Reference Signature S2, but I would probably be quite pleased with these, which I have heard, too: PSB Platinum M2, Sonus Faber Cremona Auditor, Ethera Vitae. As well, I would like to hear the following candidates, based on their measurements: Dynaudio Focus 140 and Focus Audio Signature FS68SE.
