Hi Ethan
assume you (at least) will reply!!
Once I finish my speakers, I will be able to get around to room treatment, and prob the easiest to do in the corners are super chunks type absorbers.
BUT, my ceiling height is about 17 feet. BTW, tri corners are out for treatment (tho I mainly mean the ceiling, could imagine getting away with the floor).
OK, 17 foot ceilings (5.4 metres), no doubt it would be best to do the full height but am a bit reluctant for mainly aesthetic reasons.
What would be a good compromise for the height?

Man, this hits me in the gut.....Jay era wilco was a big part of my life. I just communicated with him not too long ago.
I've always thought that Floyd's work was fabulous.
But...(there's always a 'but')...when it comes to audiophiles, specifically those who design speakers....we tend to disagree, to some extent -with Floyd. Why? If the audiophiles have a case, where did Floyd's analysis 'fall down'? When it comes to the highest fidelity and audiophile listening.... where was the misstep?

Saw JIMV's rather unfortunately stated comment in the June 09 section, so I want to see what he says about it here.
