In a Personal and Emotive Fashion

Besides dumpsters and dust, IN New York magazine left us with some profound silence. We spent much of the morning admiring it. Today, the ninth floor of 261 Madison Avenue, which can comfortably accommodate nearly 100 dedicated employees, saw only seven.

When we weren't admiring the silence, we were admiring the job done by contributing editor, Jason Victor Serinus, in covering the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest. One reader commented:

Not only has he reported on the "facts" of all these rooms, but has communicated his reaction to the sounds and music he heard in a personal and emotive fashion without sacrificing one bit of professionalism. It really brings the show to life for the reader. Well done!

Right on.

No, Steven, no. Jason did as good a job as a single human can, but the RMAF deserves at least two attendees from Mad Magazine, er, Avenue ... what, me worry?

Our company has seven dediated workers, as well.

We have more employees than that, but I think seven of them are dedicated.

This is a golden opportunity for Stereophile - take over the rest of the floor and build a reviewing center!

Watch the zoning rules, though. I think that these days, you are required to add a Starbuck's for every 8 employees.

Dude, I almost passed out when, on the way home from work last night, I passed by ANOTHER new Starbucks not far from the office. On 35th and 5th Avenue, I believe. It wasn't there the day before, I swear.
