Let me first say that I am a sax fan when it comes to jazz. While artists like Coltrane and Sonny Rollins are usually talked about when people talk about jazz giants I believe that both Griffin and Davis are overlooked. That said this is one hard bop swingin' album with great soft sonics that sound like your listening through a tube amp (easy now tube devotees !).
Theres a guy over on Dimeadozen.org that's putting up all his master reels. Unfortunately, and he and i have gone around and around on this issue, he doesn't care about azimuth. You listen to his stuff, its like Dude, Tune your tapes in!!! Calibrate!!! But he thinks you gotta tune the Zenith and al this other stuff and he's scared to death to try it.
Hi, I'm new and this may not be in the correct location, but here goes (mods please move it if I am wrong!)
My Goodmans tower speakers currently have jack style connections to the main unit, however the unit is damaged and I wish to purchase a new stereo and use the speakers for my home computer.
The speakers have a universal jack the same as the ones on earphones, however I need a cable with two inputs for them, and one to go into the back of the computer.
Does such a thing exist?
Many thanks in advance
i am considering replacing my current amp(NAD C320BEE). i'm looking at NAD C272/C162 and Parasound A23/P3. unfortunately, i can't audition these at this time but would appreciate any advice. i have Monitor Audio RS6's and an Integra CDC 3.4 as my system.
since i do like the C320BEE, i was also considering the NAD C372. however, when researching an integrated amp vs an amp/pre-amp combination, seperate components seem to be favored. any comments, recommendations or other product suggestions with regard to any of these products would be helpful. thanks
I didn't check the Stereophile blogs and my subscription had lapsed so I may have missed it... I did note that one of the AIX recordings was reviewed by Stereophile!
Has anyone tried these high resolution recordings? Do you like them or love them?
Are there any other high resolution recordings available out there? DVD-A?
