Hi
I'm interested in getting a tube amp and was hoping someone here may have listened to a couple of the amps I'm considering. I basically got interested when I read some rave reviews about the great value of the Miniwatt S1, which has since been superseded by the N3.
As 2 of these amps are shipped directly from manufacturers I haven't been able to audition them myself. I have gone to a local stereo store and compared a Prima Luna Prologue One and the Cayin A-55TP and to my ears the Prima Luna sounded amazingly rich and superior to the Cayin.
In the history of jazz, he was on hand for pretty much every major development.
What he must have heard!
Classy guy, too.
(I know May is "No Posting In The Jazz Forum Month" but what the heck.)
1) SC rules that sex offenders may continue to be held in jail after their terms expire...if they are deemed a sexual threat.
2) Life without parole in certain cases is unconstitutional for young offenders.

They don't give all the details but I think I'm OK with both decisions.
I look forward to seeing who voted how.
This is a very impressive guy.
Anyone who says he can't conduct is making an indefensible statement.
DeFacto, he can conduct. He obviously has the technique and musical education to competently perform his job.
Whether one likes his interpretations and his conducting style is a different matter. It is certainly defensible to say one doesn't like his conducting.
However , many do like him , including orchestra members. Orch. players usually love to hate their conductor so that is impressive too :-)
Do you feel you have developed skills for placing speakers in a room, or do you plunk them down, shuffle them around, and hope for the best?
2,700 year old tomb found in Mexico.
The body has been stripped of its belongings.
How about if it were a 27 year old tomb?
Anybody know the rules of archaeology on this?
No one there to protect your grave = archaeology?
