In-Wall Speakers

I am considering building a new house and prewiring for in-wall and in-ceiling speakers for my speaker needs. There are tons of in-wall speakers out there but no reviews of these speakers I have found. Certainly not in Stereophile where big floor standing speakers still rule. I will be getting rid of vintage Klipsch floor standers (reluctantly). But the clean look of in-wall speakers appeals to me more and more.

Anyone out there have experience with in-wall speakers? Prices range all over the map. What are some cost-effective speakers? Best buys? Comments welcome.

While John Atkinson, Art Dudley, Bob Deutsch, and I were having a great time roaming the halls of the 2010 Salon Son et Image at the Hilton Bonaventure in beautiful Montreal, Francois Caron of The Canadian Public was lugging a Canon Vixia HF200 camcorder and Rode Stereo Videomic from exhibitor room to exhibitor room, capturing the action.

Can Stereophile assemble a master list of ALL Recommended Components online for reference?

Despite the fact I keep all of my old issues of Stereophile for reference, is there a desire or a need (from readers, etc.) to put all of the Recommended Components of past years in a central repository for online reference?

I just bought a PS Audio GCPH new, and had to dig for my old issues back in '06, not to read the review, but to read the capsule summary in the RC from April '06 to get some additional background info.

The Fall - Your Future Our Clutter

Any fans of The Fall ought to pick up the new LP, it is their best album in a nearly a decade. It's well recorded and well mastered but the packaging leaves a bit to be desired. Mark E. Smith sounds inspired again, and the rhythm section is fantastic. It's the best new rock album I've heard in quite some time.

Mick on Larry King tonight re: "Exile On Main Street"

I thought Buddha had started a thread on the rerelease of Exile on Main Street but couldn't find it.

Lots of interesting background surfacing about the recording and the additional tracks to be included.

Larry King interviews Mick tonight. Should be interesting.
