1) SC rules that sex offenders may continue to be held in jail after their terms expire...if they are deemed a sexual threat.
2) Life without parole in certain cases is unconstitutional for young offenders.

They don't give all the details but I think I'm OK with both decisions.
I look forward to seeing who voted how.
The sex offender vote was 7-2 and should make for a good read for the dissenting opinion. I also wonder who's in charge of determining who's a threat - hopefully neither Dukakis nor Huckabee! 
I could see the logic, either way.
