Qobuz Connect comes to BluOS for direct high-resolution app-to-player streaming

BluOS, the multiroom platform from Lenbrook Media Group, announced upcoming support for Qobuz Connect. The integration will let listeners cast music directly from the Qobuz app to any compatible BluOS player.

For Stereophile readers, the advantage is simple: direct-from-app, high-resolution streaming to BluOS devices (up to 24-bit/192kHz) without workarounds. Users select and control music in the Qobuz app; speaker and volume remain in the BluOS app. The company says the feature will work across BluOS brands including Bluesound, NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers, Cyrus Audio, DALI, and Monitor Audio.

"This launch marks an important milestone in our long-standing relationship with Qobuz," said Andrew Haines, BluOS Product Manager. "Qobuz Connect brings a new level of convenience to high-resolution streaming, letting BluOS customers control playback from the Qobuz app for the very first time. Combined with BluOS' reliable multi-room performance, this integration makes it easier than ever to enjoy high-resolution audio through a connected system."

"Qobuz Connect is a feature our listeners have eagerly awaited, and we're proud to now bring it to the BluOS ecosystem," added Axel Destagnol, Chief Product Officer at Qobuz. "This update solidifies our position as one of the most complete Connect solutions on the market—combining high resolution, app synchronization, and remote control in a seamless experience. Our priority has been to develop a simple interface that enhances the listening experience for all our users, and this partnership with BluOS helps us achieve exactly that."

Qobuz Connect support for BluOS arrived as a firmware update for compatible players on September 23, 2025.
