Hello everybody
I'm new in the stereophile forum and it seem to me to be a good place to talk about audio hardware problems.
My Pre Mc C2200 is Kaput, sound is very low, with no dynamics and it seems that tubes are ok but I'm not sure. The pre-amp has about 500-600 h use in my house. I buy it new but it arrived allready open and I don't no if it was used. Can anybody suggest one reason for the problem. Anyway, if it is from tubes (2x12AX7A or 2x12AT7A), shoud I replace them with original ones or with some others?
John Atkinson and I have decided to place a temporary ban on DUP's participation in our Forums. It was difficult for us to come to this conclusion because, although we feel it is the right thing to do, we regret having to place this sort of limit on one of our own members.
When we examined the situation, we felt that, for the most part, DUP's posts provide negative energy, push possible positive contributions away, and, ultimately, kill threads and hurt the Forum as a whole. We can't allow that.
High-resolution audio has gone quiet in recent months. Or has it? What do you think has happened to SACD and DVD-Audio?
Hi folks,
I am told it is possible to run my "A" speakers from my main integrated amp, connect this amp to another amp, and run my "B" speakers from the second amp. I would like to be able to switch "A or B", "A and B" and "neither".
Could one of you learned folks tell me how I connect up the two amps? Thanks!
