VTL MB-450 Series II Signature monoblock power amplifier Page 2

I hope this is the right place to post this question. I have an older 2 channel system in need of a new source. This system consists of Levinson No. 28 preamp, No. 27 amp, Magnapan 3.5R speakers. The old source RIP was a Proceed MRC 100.
I have been searching reviews and asking around at the local high end shops. Here are a few that I have interest in:
Ayre CX-7e
Primare CD31
Marantz sa-11s1

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to get my notebook computer to have better sound but i have a really tight budget. I pretty much live on my notebook so it's most practical and affordable to upgrade the sound on that rather than investing in a home system.
I recently purchased the Creative SB Audigy 2 Notebook and a pair of Shure e3c's. The sound improved but I'm not satisfied. I've never owned or even listened to a great sound system but i know that the sound can get a lot better than this.
I've been checking out some of those 'ear care' products that are supposed to attenuate volume yet preserve frequency response and I recently got fitted for the ES49 filters made by Westone and headed out into the amplified fray.
On Saturday night, Big Mike, another friend, and I went to the Social Distortion show and stood at the back edge of the mosh area and took in the sights and sounds.
Downloads are taking off and it has been 25 years since CD was launched, yet audiophile demand for turntables and vinyl continues unabated. When did you last spin a record?
I was just at the Epos web site www.epos-acoustics.com and saw this new line of loudspeaker. Accept for some changes in power handling (on the m16i) and the m22i being 2 1/2-way, as opposed to the m22 being 3-way, the only big change appears to be cosmetic.
Other than what Epos has posted on their site I couldn't locate any other info. Is anyone familiar with this new line?
