GM will sell 365 million shares, or about a quarter of the company's outstanding common stock, for between $26 and $29 a share.
Is it a buy or a short?
That IPO price is based on a 16:1 PE ratio, so it seems realistic for it to rise a little.
It needs to hit 50 for the government to get all its money back.
I will predict it will pop to 40 and be hovering around 36 in January.
Labrynthitis. Doc said it was perhaps related to my Lyme Disease(which is now pounded into submission, Elhamdulillah!)
did the works. CSF, CT, MRI...another battery of audio tests(my results were off the charts good again..apparently none of the pitches excite this condition) and finally got my results a few days ago.
This has sucked. GLad to have it IDd. Time to destroy

If that quote is real, the guy is coocoo for cocoapuffs, not to say clueless about the oath he's going to swear to uphold the constitution.
When it comes to recordings of the non Western classical traditions, I think David. B. Jones has to ranked at the very top. He is the one who did the Connoisseur Society (their technical "guru" was Bela Bartok's son Peter!) recordings of Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, the greatest living Indian musician. Jones also did some of the Nonesuch recordings as well (thereally good ones) employing the same Sony tube mikes he used to
record Dr. Khan. Check out the Ramnad Krishnan title on Nonesuch.
Aloha,
In your travels through the Hi Fi hobby, have you ever come to a line in the sand, across which you have seen products that fail to establish their worth in terms of value regarding their performance?
Failed sonically? In terms of expected reliability? In terms of product support from the manufacturer?
Do you think it is fair of anyone to set this line in the sand? Is it fair to discuss it, or are all products "worth what they can get away with charging?"
Just for the heck of it:
Thinking two channel Hi Fi....and shopping new via retail (on sale is OK, but not secondary market.)
1) Speakers at or under 3K per pair.
2) Speakers at or under 6K per pair.
3) Speakers at or under 13K per pair.
If you have anecdotes or whies and wherefores to go with it, all the better!
I ask because I was "window shopping" at different sites purely for fun and some stuff struck me as not too crazy....
I don't have an answer of my own yet.
K, i dont want to kill conflict resolution, but i also dont want personal gripes from previous threads to interrupt an audio thread...
I will share my thoughts on the actual heading of this forum after i take my lunch and finish sending all your favorite writers their invoices for payment.
So let the dog-fight begin
