Pro-Ject Audio Systems

Pro-Ject, the renowned Austrian audio manufacturer, made a striking impact with its static display at High End Munich 2025. Its new products, though silently presented, conveyed a powerful message.

Jakob Dirnberger, representing Pro-Ject, showcased a vast array of turntables, a compact portable system, a record flattener, and legacy products—creating a compelling and sometimes humorous presentation.

The RPM 1 Pro turntable ($TBA) is an all-new design with a 9" tonearm, Central Mass Point with new adjustable platter bearing, balanced 5-pin outputs, a 30mm acrylic platter, electronic speed control, and a new aluminum pulley.

Another all-new design—this one featuring a 10" tonearm—the RPM 3 Pro ($TBA) offers a Central Mass Point with new adjustable platter bearing, balanced 5-pin outputs, new heavy steel motor base, and electronic speed control with new aluminum pulley.

Made for the jet-setting, beachcombing, lifestyle set, Pro-Ject’s new all-in-one Travel Set fits handily into its own flight case. Travel Set components include:

  • Stereo Box S3 BT integrated amplifier (€399)
  • Speaker Box 3 E Carbon loudspeakers (€299)
  • Connect it LS E Flex cables (€29.20)
  • Damp it isolation feet (€7.99/each)

Full Travel Set price: €699.

Presented by Dirnberger and two able assistants, all wearing 60s-styled flight attendant uniforms while reclining in authentic flight seats, Pro-Ject seemingly spared no expense, audio or otherwise.

Also on display: new limited-edition, icon-branded turntables including Elvis (€1200), AC/DC (€1299), and Peanuts (€599), and a warped record fixer, Flatten it (€799).
