This coming Thursday, February 26, 5–9pm, Definitive Audio (6206 Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle) will host Music Matters 10, an annual event devoted exclusively to the reproduction of music—and the grand commencement of the dealership's 40th Anniversary Celebration.

Guests will have the opportunity to listen to music through world-class stereo systems in six expertly tuned sound rooms. Manufacturer representatives will be on hand for demonstrations and discussion.

Featured products will include the new Audio Research G Series amplification (above), presented by Dave Gordon; AudioQuest NightHawk headphones and JitterBug USB filter, presented by Stan Beil, Steve Silberman, and Kathleen Thomas; Class… Sigma Mono power amplifiers, presented by Dave Nauber; D'Agostino MLife integrated amplifier/streamer, presented by Dan D'Agostino; Devialet amplification and Phantom loudspeaker (below), presented by Manuel de La Fuente; Linn Akubarik Exakt loudspeaker and Exakt DSM network music player, presented by Keith Robertson; Tidal lossless music streaming service, presented by David Solomon; and, for the first time in a public setting, the Wilson Audio Specialties Sabrina loudspeaker (bottom), presented by Peter McGrath.

In addition, throughout the evening, 20-minute seminars will be presented by all of the above, as well as: AMG, Bowers & Wilkins, Harmonic Resolution Systems, JL Audio, McIntosh Laboratory, NAD, Rotel, Transparent Audio, and Vienna Acoustics. AudioQuest's Steve Silberman will conduct a version of his popular "Computer Audio Demystified" seminar, while Stereophile editor John Atkinson will be playing some of his original hi-rez music files.
