Well wouldn't ya know... the BFD parametric sub EQ. What better and lesser expensive way to get a flat response or that premier house curve out of your sub. Amazing what $120 can do.

I had no idea Sterophile even had a forum... looks pretty new. When did this come about?

Anyone know an isolator that will work between a satellite coxial cable and the satellite receiver. All the ones I've seen will only work on a cable T.V.system. This hum is destroying my enjoyment of the Bryston and Parasound I recently added to my den system. When the coaxial satellite cable is disconnected, the hum disappears. However, it is difficut to constantly disconnect the back of the sat. receiver when listening to music on the turntable.

I realize this is an audio forum but this hum is really annoying.

I have 2 B&W 804s as front speakers, 2 B&W 805s back , HTM-1 center and ASW 850 subwoofer.

Currently, I'm using Marantz 7300 receiver. I am looking for better receiver to power these speakers to their true potential. I will highly appreciate if someone can suggest some good receivers upto $2000 range ?

I want to record a lot of my old 33 rpm LPs onto CDs. I understand that I need some special software for my PC. Does anyone have any recommendations? I just want to make CDs from my records and hopefully be able to clean them up a bit, i.e., take out scratches, etc.

hi, i'm thinking of buying the grado rs-1's, but i'm not sure if i should get the grado headphone amp (the ra-1) or the ray samuel's new emmeline amp.... any suggestions please?

My January issue has been ripped to shreds. I can only assume is was the post office during this busy season.

The bottom line is that I paid good money for this magazine and it arrives trashed. I would rather wait for a delivery in January instead of receiving my copy as it stands.

Merry Christmas and its the only reason I'm not filing complaints at the post office.
