Record Shopping

I'm located in Wichita, KS and I'm looking for some places to buy new records. I'm willing to drive a little (Kansas City, Oklahoma City or someplace within 3 or so hours of Wichita)... any shops in either of those places that you would recommend? I do a lot of shopping at Love Garden in Lawrence, but I'm looking for a shop that carries more Classical music as well as rock, jazz, country etc.

Thanks,
Josh

Old tube amps and old school audio

Hi all,

does anyone know about some pages where the old retro amplifiers, turntables or CD players (and so on) are provided? I'm interested in photos and specification lists. Or if anyone else is interested in this and has some of these I'd be very grateful if it would be possible to send it to me.
If this is offtopic I'm sorry but this is the only forum I found and don't know where else to ask.

Thank you.

Carver 2 Channel Amps

Forums

I am now ready to move into separates for music listening and have the opportunity to purchase one of 3 Carver amps:
M 1.5, PM 1.5, or M 1.5t. Has anyone here used any of these amps or know anything about them regarding sound quality (in comparison to other of same price point) or buit quality, etc. Do you know what is the main difference between them? I greatly appreciate your inputs.

Is Money A Virus?

Is Money A Virus?

No, but it behaves like one, according to researchers who used an internet game called www.wheresgeorge.com to predict the geographical spread of epidemics. How's that work? Money, like viruses, is spread by people and, since people travel great distances these days, coming up with a way to chart how far and fast an epidemic can travel has been nigh on to impossible.
