Is this a new way to make us purchase all our favourite albums again as-well-as to implement new copy protection encryptions ? This week only,i've puchased 40 lps.Personally i am not interested if the new formats are better or worse then the excisting ones.Who can quarantee us they won't die off the same way sacd and dvd-audio are , because contrary to what we want to believe, they are dying!

Already confirmed performers include Ian Hunter, Yo La Tengo, Nils Lofgren, Garland Jeffreys, and Robert Plant who promises a set of Led Zep favorites. Information at (212) 307-7171 or www.thelovesociety.com (although as of this post the web site was "temporarily unavailable").

Why then, do you suppose, that Musical Fidelity and Marantz, both noted for their electronics, have decided they need to get into the turntable business.

I've shivered through the March "As We See It" column about how a certain someone has better ears than those who disagree with him; he can hear the emotion and color of a piece - and if others don
