I received a catalog from them today. I haven't heard of them.
I think they got my name & address from Stereophile(which is fine). Does anyone have experience with them? I'm thinking they might be worth checking out. They produce high quality recordings. They even have a quote by "Stereophile's Larry Archibald." How old must that be?
I'm a new member & have a question for anyone. I have an old (B&O 4002) turntable requiring an input sensitivity of aabout 2 mV. My new home theatre receiver has no phono jack & the only input available is 200 mV. Is there any device I can use to compesate for this. As is, I cannot really get much out of the turntable. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks. RickR
Hi Folks, This is my first post on the forum. I just bought a Xiang Sheng 708B headphone preamp on ebay. My current system is an Antique SoundsAQ-2004DT preamp with a CD, Tuner and Aux inputs, B&O RX-2 Turntable, Creek OBH-8 MM Phono Preamp, Cambridge Audio P500 Power Amp and a Cambridge Audio D500-SE CD Player. I wanted to listen with some headphones so I bought the headphone preamp since none of my components have a headphone output. Problem is I'm not sure how to connect it!
I worked with Luxman equipment back in the late 70s. Their amps had a very smooth and refined sound. Build quality was solid and finish was always elegant.
I can't wait to hear some feedback on the new (and drop-dead gorgeous) 505u integrated.

If you have any experience with recent (Y2k+) Luxman amps, please share.
Thanks!
Hi all. I'm new to this forum, but not new to the world of audio. I've got a question about my next upgrade. First, I should probably tell you what is in my system. Even though I prefer 2 channel, my system is built for both 2 and 5.1. Here's the system
Rotel RSP-1068 PreAmp
Rotel RMB-1095 Amp
Rotel RCD-1072 CD Player
Pioneer DV-79AVi DVD Player
Pioneer BDP-94HD BluRay Player
B&W XT4 Fronts
B&W XTC Center
Martin Logan Depth Sub
Transparent Musicwave Plus interconnects and speaker wire
Richard Gray Power Company
I don't mean in insult anyone just make it easier to go to article....I thought it was interesting...I thought it a little strange that there were no responses...oh well
have fun and enjoy the music

I'm hoping the audio veterans on this board can help here. And that your answers are useful not just for me, but for all beginners.
What steps can be taken, in order of importance, to get the most from your system Without Making any new purchases, or accumulating any new gear. (ok aside from little incidentals like twisty ties or some other common house-hold item)
I anticipate that there may be a difference in the priority of free-tweaks/proper setup for an analog vs digital system. I gladly accept for advice on either or both.
