Does anyone know whether Lipinski speakers are still in business? They are made in Warsaw, they are fabulous for the money (and beat the pants off many speakers many times their price) but the most recent information on the web is from 2007.....nothing from 2008.
Does anyone know if they are still actively in business?
Thanks for your help.
What don't this outfit "upgrade" into the best sounding this month? So now maybe the Garrard Zero 100 is the best arm next month? This company goes through upgrades, like bars of soap. Everything is a prototype, never gets it right?, and every update costs thousands.....only in audio, if this where products that need to work the best, in the first go round, he would probably have the FTC on his back. How do you justify all these rube goldberg setups, as upgrades?
Tried to post this earlier but don't see it on here...sorry if I'm double posting.
I live in China for the moment and am choosing between buying a solid state amp (likely a Dussun V8i) or a tube amp (Cayin, Jolida, Shengya?). I've auditioned a few and like several models.
Any advice for which way to lean? I listen to all types of music, jazz, classical, and some bass heavy styles like acid jazz/electronic, and even hip hop.
Moved into a bigger house, which means I have a basement I can use as study/listening room, away from kids. Nice. But the space is about 13 x 17, with low ceilings, smaller than I thought. So I am going to pair up Harbeth Super HL5s in the living room with Plinius 8150. Which means I'm going to start auditioning some speakers for my Leben CS600 for my basement system, which is ~ 30 wpc/8 ohms.
