Read with interest about Spendor's new SA1s. I have had a pair of S3es in the kitchen for many years and love them to bits. Interested to hear if anybody has had a chance to compare the two.

Just bought 500 LP's from a guy in a small town nearby who got them in an abandoned storage unit sale.

The guy said rock and classical predominate and that the jackets are all in good condition and the records look 'clean.'

Gonna go pick 'em up. I'll post the price later.

I read a brief overview of the A-S1000 int amp and CD-S1000 cdp, at Whafhifi. After doing a quick web search it seems there are no USA dealers, for this product.

An interesting '70's look, minus all the buttons & knobs.
Is anyone familiar with the model?

Looks good on paper. The disc player is a SACD/CD combo...I'm not sure about the pros.cons of such a device.

Hello all. With our RMAF coverage now complete, I have now gone through all the blog comments, and responded where I felt it appropriate to do so.
