Soundesign was my reality, but Krell was in my dreams. It was the early 1980s. I researched and made up lists of equipment and riddled out how long I would have to save the two dollars an hour I was making before I could afford to own the objects of my acoustic desire. I soon dismissed the whole idea.
Got some Monster Cable interconnects from audioadvisor - probably this line of cables are discontinued now - interlink 400MKII ($18 for 1 meter pair) and 300mkII ($15 for 1m pair).
Can't afford not to buy them - that's less than what you will sometimes pay for generic or Rat Shack cables, yes?
I connected a cdp and the preamp with the 400's and I think I hear a microscopic improvement over the previous cheap interconnects. Can't complain.
Everybody loves Monster Cable, right? (that's just to poke a stick into the cage, for fun...)
I normally loathe all things rap(or as the defenders of that faith say, HIPHOP ) but this guy is entertaining.
Sorry to bring this up again (not really), but on December 23, 2008 in this now-locked thread:

last month we were told we would hear more about the great integrated amp/cd player system. can you tell me when, waiting with baited breath.
