Naxos abandons SACD?

After learning from John Sunier, publisher of Audiophile Audition, that Naxos, the largest classical label in the world, was expected to cease producing SACDs and DVD-As, I checked with their national publicist, Mark A. Berry. He in turn sought confirmation from Naxos' founder and chairman, Klaus Heymann.

CRIA Study Reveals Some Interesting Information

The Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA) commissioned a new 144-page report of radio and consumer survey results, based on data collected between February 17 and 22 by Pollara, Inc. in 1229 telephone interviews with respondents above the age of 13. I am wondering several things as to the proper selection of a cartridge and the alignment of the cartridge as it sits on the headshell.

How about that single malt?

Over the years, Sam Tellig's reviews have, more than once, led me to audition equipment which I later bought and loved. There's lots of overlap in our musical tastes and equipment preferences. It seems only yesterday that I put the Unico SE on my "good stuff" list, largely based on the amp's characteristics, Sam's wildly enthusiastic evaluation, and his willingness to nominate it for "Component of the Year".
