One of the great joys about visiting Austin, at least for those attached to collecting physical media, is Waterloo Records, which even now, still maintains a small but fairly vital classical music section.

What is much much more "vital" is Tidal and other streaming services that are able to reach several orders of magnitude more people with several orders of magnitude more variety and depth of artistry and everything from Amazon to the various Hi-Res download sites where I $purchase$ the music I discover through streaming services.

Musicians and "the industry" need to wake up and do away with this bad attitude...or perhaps they want me to regress to the period from the 90's to recently when I did not $purchase$ music...by the way, I am a 70% jazz, 25% classical, and 5% everything else guy.
