Alright, so I was wandering, but now it was time to give John a call. The plan was for him to pick me up and drive me over to the Brooklyn Navy Yard where DeVore Fidelity lives.

What do they have in common? Only that they were all producing music at the time. If you were a music fan then, it seemed like there wasn't really much a scene, but this post makes a strong argument for an active and diverse musical climate.
My buddy Paul sent me the URL, knowing I inadvertently let my subscription lapse. (Note to circulation departments: The problem with sending folks renewal notices every other day for years before the sub lapses is that we subscribers begin to think you're always crying wolf.)
