Got it yesterday and although i only read Art's article(yes,i like the guy) and got a quick look at the 2005 components of the year,i can't help thinking that there is something missing from that list.

For the past 12 months or so, my reference system has consisted of the Simaudio Moon Eclipse LE (Limited Edition) CD player; P-5 LE preamplifier; W-5 LE power amp; Induction Dynamics ID1 loudspeakers; Shunyata power conditioners and power cords; and Signal Cable Silver Resolution cables.

I am looking at (i.e., cant make up my mind) the Arcam 80 intergrate amp vs, the Rotel RB-1070 amp and RC-1070 preamp. Which has overall better sound quality (for anyone who has heard both). Or, does anyone have thoughts with regard to either seperately (if you havent heard both).

It will be paired with my B&W 703s or Vienna Speakers (Bach).
