stereophile reviewed it in 1993 and martin sad it's bass is exceptional but in my system it's bass is not very extended.
is it possible that van den hul company decreased the cable material quality? or my setup is my problem.

Does the MUSICAL FIDELITY/X-10 V3 MU-VISTA TUBE BUFFER work?

A quick questions is there a correct order to both?
I usually turn on the preamp first then the amp and then the reverse when powering down.
One thing that is a concern though, when I don't turn the power off right after listening to whatever there is sometimes a pop that can be heard through the speakers.
Thanks, Chris
I have a few recordings on disc that seem to be ever so slightly out of synch and I was wondering what causes this and if it is intentional or a product of poor reproduction.
What is going on when I can hear the track begin just a split second before it actually comes in? I'm talking about an extremely low in level jump the gun kinda thing? Is this some sort of ambience enhancement attempt or what? This has me curious and I have always wanted to ask somebody what was going on. Thanks in advance.
Rank newbie time...
I'd like to fiddle around with the tonal sound of my system, but I'm stumped as where to start. Fifteen years ago (when last I was serious about all this), the answer, as I recall, was to pick up a graphic equalizer and "have at you!". Now that everything's gone digital I can barely FIND equalizers, let alone anything that will work with digital equipment.
Google searches revealed a Behringer unit that doesn't seem to be produced now. Everything else looks to be for pro audio, which I'm not sure will even work.
