Both of these pieces have been reviewed in Stereophile. I've looked at both sets of measurements, and can't figure out which tap would provide me the flattest response. I'd also like some guidance on what to listen for when switching between the two. I ask this because I'm all over the map with this. I think I've got it nailed, then another piece of music confounds me; or, I'll experiment with speaker placement, again throwing me off the track.
I did not receive my June edition, and reported it. I was sent the May edition - dunno why.
I reported this but still did not receive the June edition.
I have reported it AGAIN, and have been told that there is none left. I am NOT happy about this. My subscription was extended by 1 issue, but I now have a gap in my collection, and I still can't read what was in the June edition.
Not happy, Jan!! (Aussies will understand this) NOT happy Stereophile!!
I know this is no big deal in the whole scheme of things, but it is annoying.
I went to pick up a CD player for home audition and found out that the same store is dealer for the European (Austrian) label in the subject.
Picked up Rudy Linka's "Lucky Southern" (Linka, Abercombie, Scofield, Fabricator, Wollesen) [http://www.quinton.at/artists/lucky/set.htm]
What do ya think, $30+ for a glass fuse, does it really work? Would you BUY this stuff? http://www.musicdirect.com/products/sear...Btuning%2Bfuses
