Has anyone else who was/is involced in home-theater as well as hi-fi found out that all laserdisc players make perfect cd transports ?I've owned 3 laserdisc players(i still have the 2 latest ones),all Pioneers,2 European models,a cld-1740
a cld-2950 and a US model Elite cld-99.I do not remember how the cld-1740 sounded but the other two beat my then cd transport (Audiolab). The differences were like night and day

Hello:
I have been using a Carbon Rio for the past two years.
However, I have been very annoyed by the process of uploading music to my player, because it is very difficult, tedious and time-consuming to keep the tracks in the correct order so often I end up hearing the cabelleta before the aria.
Can anyone recommend a portable audio player whose software has maybe dealt with this problem (I hear that Apple still hasn't as well) ... preferably one that allows upload of mp3s as well as lossless codecs like FLAC.
Cheers,
David

I am thinking about buying a pair of used JM labs Electra 936 speakers. I am wondering if any of you can share with me your experience. I would also want to get suggestions on an amplifier which can drive the speakers well. Thanks.
