I've greatly enjoyed John's articles about the Slim Devices SqueezeBox and am about ready to go purchase one.

As the SqueezeBox offers a volume control for all outputs, couldn't I just connect the SqueezeBox's RCA analog outputs directly to my 2 channel amplifier? Bypassing the need for a preamplifier as the SqueezeBox would be my only source?
Would there be any issues with that?

How about a shoot out review of both the Stirling Broadcast and Rogers RA LS3/5A speakers?

I have the Kinergetics BSC-200 Subwoofer system that I got used some time ago. However, I don't have a manual for it. If any one has a manual could you email me a copy?

What I really need to know is about which of the four outputs to use to go to the main amp. The four outputs (per channel) are labeled 100k, 75k, 50k, and 25k. I know that they have to do with crossover frequency, but that is not how they are labeled.

I am trying to set up a system to play records. I want to buy a Technics SL-1200, maybe MK3 or 5?
I have an amp already: Audiolab 8000s
but it doesn't have phono input. So I need to buy a seperate one.

I have it in my head to transfer my collection to CD-R's so that I can avoid wearing out my Vinyl. The problem is that I have no idea at all what is required. BTW, the computer is set up for photo editing with 2gb of RAM so it should have plenty of power. The operating system is XP-Pro.

HELP, What are the opinions of the Bryston BP 26 or the BAT 3K-ViX SE? Also open to opinion on other options. I have Bryston 7B ST amps. What about the Audio Research LS 17.
