THE AYRE C-5 XE UNIVERSAL PLAYER

I am thinking very hard about buyng the AYRE C-5xe and would like any owner or anyone who has experience with it to PLEASE give me their impressions of its tracking ability, reliability, sound, manufacturer support, or anything else that could affect my decision to buy. Has anyone had to send one in for repair, and what was that for and what was the service experience like?

This is a fairly major financial outlay for me, and I want to make sure I am not going to be sorry about it in a year or two (or sooner...).

Newbie questions..(very long)

Hey, all. Planning on making my first foray into what I believe will be considered "mid-fi".

As for speakers, I've settled on either B&W 602's or 603's. Any thoughts, comments, etc. on these are appreciated.

Now on to my question: Rotel or NAD? It seems from my research that these are the two best value lines out there (feel free to make other suggestions) Because my room is small (couch about 6 feet from all components)I'm primarily interested in 2-channelo audio, but will use the system for TV, movies and video games as well.

Speaking of Los Lobos...

Hola,

I think the greatest travesty in the history of the so called "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" is the exclusion of Los Lobos.

It will not be a true Hall of Fame until Los Lobos takes the stage to jam with Keith and Mick.

Their newest release, "The Town and the City" is another five star Los Lobos disc.

Someone somewhere mentioned the joy of growing into a song or disc (going from neutral to love over time) as a greater experience than hitting it off with a song/disc right from the start, and this disc will do that for you, I promise.
