Just wanted to post a warm greeting to all and hope your Thanksgiving and the end of year's Holidays are peaceful, joyous, you have great fun with family and friends. As always eating too much and watching some football is mandatory.

I am home for only a few days as our installation of 2 manufacturing cells with Fanuc robots has taken longer than we hoped at Avon Products in Chicago. I've been gone 4+weeks will head back on Monday. I sure missed my family and it was great to be home even for a few days.

Well i guess all the geniuses at Shunatya "research" don't know what NEC is all about. if this is fused/Ckt breaker (custom of course!!!) at 20A according to NEC Continuous is 3hrs or more use, AND only allowed to go to 80% of devices rating ie. ckt breakers. Hmmmm, again, since this is all audio wizzardry and Hydra Venom, rattlesnake technology, NEC don't apply? So 80% of 20A is 16A continous use (3hrs or more) Since this ad claims no mention of this. Just says continous 2400W. Someone over at "research" better READ some code books. Audio, it negates NEC or UL problems!!!!

Based on reviews I thought the RA-1062 was going to be hard to beat in the mid-priced integrated category and pretty much had my mind made up without having auditioned one. When I finally got to listen to one I was left perplexed - while very detailed, dynamic and tight it was also extremely bright(harsh) and unforgiving with some material(especially at high volume). I'm not sure I could live with this amp over a period of time. I was wondering - is it just me or has anyone else had a similar experience with this amp?

If you have a rectangular room who have to try this out. I came across it on the Cardas website. I thought my system sounded fantastic already, but this mathamatical calculation for speaker placement made my system completely open up. I was dumb founded at the before & after effect. I kid you not!! My room is 13x32 & it has never sounded better. If you have the room - DO IT!! He also gives speaker placement calculations for other shaped rooms. Check it out!!

Where can I buy Molly Toes?

I was disappointed to see no show report on the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in the December issue. Was it too late for the publication deadline, or did Stereophile just decide to do away with the hard copy publication of it in light of the success of the live blog?
