I found a few posts on this, but none that explain the whole process very well. Not with sufficient detail for me, anyway.
I want to record some of my LPs to my computer so I can burn them to CD. I believe I can figure out the task of getting the sound files recorded to CD once I've captured them, but I'm wondering how to capture the sound at a high level of quality.
Hola,
For some reason, I just could not wait for Raising Sand to come out...ran and bought it yesterday.
Listen 1: "Where's Robert Plant?"
"Is this a Julee cruise album taken hostage?"
Listen 2: "Hey, there's Chris Isaak and Margo Timmins!"
"Nice quality sound."
"Is that Marshall Crenshaw playing on 'Polly Come Home?'
Listen 3: 'Gone Gone Gone'...that would have been a great Beatles song. Did the Beatles ever record that?
"Roy Orbison could have done this, too."
Listen 4: "This disc has soul."
I was able to audition the PMC line of speakers and came away very impressed. I had my mind set on some Gallo Ref 3.1's, but this has not been an easy decision. I would appreciate any opinions as the PMC line is relatively new to the USA in terms of consumer speakers.
