Interconnects for integrated amp?

I own a NAD 320BEE Integrated Amplifier. I wish to upgrade the interconnect cables (not sure if this is the correct term). I'm not referring to the cables between the amp and the CD player; rather I am referring to the little 6-inch cable that runs between (I assume) the pre-amp and the amp that is built into the same unit.

Question:

(1) Recommendations in the $100 range?
(2) Are these the same "interconnect" cables that run between my intergrated amp and CD player?

Looks like Vinyl is poised to help save 2-Channel Home Audio - no kiddin'

Vinyl May Be Final Nail in CD's Coffin

Well OK a rather hyperbolic caption I'll admit but good news for vinyl fans and for 2-channel home audio in general.

The bit about "size and presence of the artwork" really makes sense to me, i.e.:

The "sound" of jitter

After a period of work-enforced absence from the boards I was sucked back into this thread over on the Sonos forum concerning how to get the best out of a Sonos system used as a digital front-end, and how to deal with that perennial digital bugbear jitter.

One of the other forum members asked a couple of very simple questions I had great difficulty answering.

Congrats to SonicFlare

Congrats to SonicFlare

Speaking of fun, please be sure to visit the redesigned SonicFlare. I met SonicFlare's Josh Ray at CES a couple of years back and I was impressed by his enthusiasm and energy. The dude exists to share the magic of hi-fi. The updated SonicFlare offers entertaining and informative articles on how to make sense of measurements, how to pimp your system, and how to use your speakers to get laid. They've even come up with a new way of describing the various sonic characteristics of components and systems. The "Sonic Circle" breaks hi-fi down into three major categories (Precise, Emotional, and Refined) and three related sub-categories (Vivid, Intense, and Smooth).

A Day At The Races

Hola,

We had a thing in town this past weekend at "The Las Vegas Strip," which is a drag strip. The National Hot Rod Association has drag races there from time to time, and I enjoyed my first trip to one of these events.

Talk about an entire subculture that I did not know existed!

It was like my first trip to CES back in the day and being taken to the Sahara Exhibits!
