The AudioEngine 5's - an odd observation - an even stranger problem

Last week, some of you will remember that I was in the market for some speakers - my 1994 AIWA unit was not cutting it.

In the end I decided to go with the AudioEngine 5's for a number of reasons. Here is the thing that has me confused:

The AudioEngine 5's sound clearer, more detailed, and far more spacious than my old AIWA's, but... they sound smaller.

Monitor Audio GS20 Review???

Forums

Hmmm... I was just wondering if there are any plans to review the Monitor Audio Gold Series GS20 speakers...

I know Rob Reina reviews more affordably priced gear, but since it is the next step up from his reference speakers (Monitor Audio RS6), I'd really be intrigued to to hear his opinion on the GS20s... Are they worth three times the price of the RS6???

Also if anyone has experience comparing the RS6 with the GS20, I'd love to hear about it as I'm considering buying one of the two later this year (after some heavy auditioning)....
