Robert Hartley says the company is no garage operation gonna be around a long time, footnote from JA says March 2008 company no longer in existence....hmmmmmmm Now how can what Robert Hartley claims or ponders, or says is so can be beleived? And why would he make such a claim in reviewing a transformer, does that mean he is also a fiancial consultant, did he see the books of the company, (impossible if not public probably) why would he make a claim that since some 3 guys build a transformer in a box, they will be around a long time.
Both Ayre CX-7e and Marantz SA8001 received A ratings in the recent Recommended Components. Does anyone have thoughts on how these two compare sonically on redbook cds(have no sacds)? I love the look of the Ayre but it is roughly $2k more. I am using the Krell 400xi integrated and Thiel 1.2 speakers. Thanks for any input. Dokosan
Has anyone auditioned the new 450s? I am particularly interested in how they work with Magnepan 3.6
