Remember Obama's leftist buddy in Honduras?

This is entertaining. The new government found the results of the referendum the ex-President demanded letting him violate the Constitution and remain in office. It seems he had election results already recorded and certified on his computers...before the election had even been held.

Like Iran or Franken in Minnesota.

Walter Cronkite is Wasted.

Cronkite was a great anchorman. After the 1968 Tet Offensive, after which the Viet Cong ceased to exist as an effective fighting force for the duration of the war, Cronkite had this this to say...

Quote:

"It is increasingly clear that the only rational way out will be to negotiate, not as victors but as an honorable people who lived up to the pledge to defend democracy."

Car buying advice desired!

Hola,

I like cars in so much as they get me where I want to go, but I see more value in 10K spent on Hi Fi than I do added to a car's price.

However, my '97 Dodge POS es muerte, and I am compelled to buy a new car.

Aficonados, what car?

I looked at Mini Cooper JCW's and they are in budget and seem fun, and that's as far as I've gone.

(I do need four seats, so the kids can ride with katy and I. But the back seats can be somewhat 'abbreviated.')

My parameters: 40K or less, good AC, reliable.

I really don't know what to go after.
