I bought my stereo back in 1980, a Pioneer system. I won't go digital so don't try to talk me into it. I love my system a PL-560 auto turntable with TX 6500 tuner and a SA 6500 amp. with 2 XD-10 3 way speakers. I have been looking to upgrade the speakers but can't find the Ones. I can't be the only one here thats too stuborn to change and I don't want to. I feel analog really isn't dead and its making its way back. I wish I could actually work on this stuff in the Cent. IL area.

Strong correlation between wage and blueness. You'd think all those high wage earners would be tea baggers! Guess not.
Amazingly close overlap.
(Also holds up well for US Senators and Congressmen.)
Aloha,
You know how people mention that gear needs to warm up (in a given listening session) or break in (longer term) to allow us to hear its true sonic performance? You think the same is true of you?
If you notice a system changes its sound as it reaches a steady state, in your opinion, what part of that might be you?
Do your ears warm up as you listen, does your acuity seem to improve, decline?
Example: Turn on system, sounds a certain way, then as the system 'settles in,' you notice a difference. Is it all the system, or is it also you?

I was looking to buy a Rega Apollo second hand from America however the voltage is different between the USA and Australia.
I know the Cambridge 840c cd player has a switch or something that allows it to work off both voltages.
My question is does the Rega Apollo have this capability as well?
