High-end audio is an international pursuit, with components and products sourced from all over the world. Setting aside the manufacturers' headquarters addresses, how many of the products in your system are actually manufactured outside of your home country?

Martin Gardner died.

Martin Gardner used to write the math puzzles in Scientific American and was author of many terrific math based books.

He wrote a great book called "The Annotated Alice" with many references about the inside jokes and allusions in the Lewis Carroll books.

He lived to a ripe old age, so I mention him as an example of a life well lived rather than mourning a premature demise.
