Hi All,
My system consists of
1. NAD T515 CDPlayer
2. Rega P3-24 TT
3. NAD PP3 Phono stage
4. NAD C352 amp
5. Monitor Audio RS6 speakers
6. Audio quest cables
7. Treated room with bass traps and HF absorbers
Why is that Jazz and classical (especially solo and chamber music) sounds great...but big orchestra or rock/metal sucks in my system. What can I do not enjoy rock music too... your help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking to upgrade my system and have a maximum budget of $2000USD. My current system consists of the following:
Source: Sony SCD-C555ES
Pre-Amp: Aragon 18MKII
Amp: 2X Emotiva UPA-1 monoblock amps
Speakers: NHT Classic 3
interconnects: Kimber PBJ
Speaker Cable: 1990 vintage Audioquest.
Been thinking about new speakers or a DAC. Benchmark DAC1 HDR or Dynaudio Excite X12. As a music lover, but noob when it comes to gear, I'm looking for advice. Thinking the Benchmark would be a great way to listen to high-rez files from HD Tracks, etc....
