Does anyone know anything about KT90 tubes? By that I mean, is this tube a substitute for an EL34 or KT88 setup? I have read it puts out more power than either of those other tubes and am wondering what it would do in a PrimaLuna Dialogue II, if it would work there at all??

The amps 38 watts does not work well with my existing MMG's or mini monitors..

Hello, I am 19 years old at the University of Oregon and I recently just acquired my own audio system. My dad is into vintage audio equipment so he got me started with the following:

-NAD Stereotuner 4220
-NAD Stereo Amplifier 3220PE Power Envelope
-NAD CD Player 513

The Advents are sitting on the carpeted floor and the stereo components are stacked on top of one another.

Not my week for pets. I had to put down my huge 15 year old Tinfoil Barb and my 16 year old feral cat. Average age for a feral cat is 3 years. Average age for a Tinfoil Barb is 8 years. WTF? The cat probably could have lived another year with kidney failure, loss of teeth, and a host of other issues. The fish was fine except it went crazy and would only swim in one direction with his nose against the glass. Created a huge sore on his nose.

Has anyone heard these amps yet? I see that JA has been using them in his most recent reviews, so I guess he must think highly of them. Are these amps all about power or do they posses finesse as well? I'm always skeptical of high powered amps as they tend to lose that very special balancing act.
