Any serious reviews of this very inexpensive amplifier?

If you remember,a few months ago i mentioned i had a problem
with room acoustics.Specifically,bass problem,or lack of it.

I'm trying to recreate the Acoustat Model 8 experience by using two pairs of 2+2's, side by side.

However, I cannot find any good source material about their impedance curve.

They were reviewed in Stereophile in February 1984 (Vol.7 No.2), and I was hoping someone here is packrat enough to still have that lying around, in the fashion that some of us keep things..."just in case I ever need that info"...

I got a Audio catalog that is affiliated with Stereophile. It was sent to my house in conjuntion with Stereophile..

On the back page there was an ad for a closeout on Bose surround speakers for either $299 or $199.. I threw away the catalog without thinking anything of it and cannot remember which catalog it was.. Anyone have any ideas??

I am wanting to get these speakers for my mom's HT set-up.
