Aloha,
I'm trying to recreate the Acoustat Model 8 experience by using two pairs of 2+2's, side by side.
However, I cannot find any good source material about their impedance curve.
They were reviewed in Stereophile in February 1984 (Vol.7 No.2), and I was hoping someone here is packrat enough to still have that lying around, in the fashion that some of us keep things..."just in case I ever need that info"...
I don't know what their lowest impedance point is, and I care because I'm wondering if I can get away with powering them with a vintage receiver that allows for two pairs of speakers (remember the old "Speaker A" and "Speaker B" choices, with one choice being "Speaker A+B?")
Well, I'd like to do that. Otherwise, I'll have to use a second pair of amplifier channels.
Muchos gracias.
