If you remember,a few months ago i mentioned i had a problem
with room acoustics.Specifically,bass problem,or lack of it.
After re-arranging furnitures and repositioning of loudspeakers,the result was some bass when seated and lots of when standing.I knew i needed some bass traps but those items are expensive and bulky and together with transportation costs,prohibitive.Anyway,two weeks ago,i places an order for some lps and decided to purchase 4 corner busters in the hope that they would do something to the sound.Better something than nothing lol My room has a peculiarity.Six corners instead of four but i could only purchase them in fours.One of the corner is the doorway and when the door opens,you can't have a corner buster there,so,
i decided to get just four and leave one corner untreated.
Anyway,i knew that 3 particular corners HAD to be treated and so i did,and left two untreated and one spare corner buster to decided where to put after experimentation.
First impressions(with only 3 corners busters) nothing,or so
i thought.My surprise was when i stood up and there was no extra bass.I thought "those 3 corner busters robed the few bass i had"and i took them out only to discover that it was now that the bass was gone.I just forgot how my system sounded untreated and was surprises after installing the corner busters.I do not expect miracles after installing the fourth one but all i can say is these things work and at $166 for 4 they're not expensive.I know i actually need bass busters but i am quite happy with the results i got from the C.B. ! Give them a try if you want.
