Some combinations work and some don't. How about music and food? Do you eat food while you listen? If so, what is the perfect food/music combination?

The Esoteric is a universal player, which is really the way to go, BUT the EMMLABS DCCSA controler for 3X the price upsamples Cd to 5.6Mghz AND makes PCM into DSD...DSD smokes any CD PCM...hmmmm, does teh Esoteric up convert to DSD then analog out that? I didn't finish reading, Esoteric is 1/3rd teh price, but....Emmlabs is out there at $13,500 and it don't do DVD-A.....but does it do DSD better than teh Esoteric, 3X better?

Alright, so, I recently bought an Oppo universal digital player for use with my stereo. One of my favorite albums, Sting's "Ten Summoner's Tales", is available in hi-res, but only in the DTS 5.1 surround format. I've enjoyed the CD for years, but I'm curious if there is a superior sonic experience of which I could take advantage.
We started a small business recently and installed 5 in-ceiling speaker (8ohm). The speakers are spread across the length of the hall (not in a single room). I did a lot of research, but still couldn't figure out how to connect them. All I want is play music from a CD player/IPOD on all those speakers. Can some one help me with
1) What equipment I need. Like Amplifiers
2) Connections. I got individual wires from each speaker to a central location. Can I connect them to the amplifier direclty or do I need another impedence matcher like Phoenix Gold ...
thanks
After more than a decade without my vinyl I'm pulling it back out in style. I've got a nice collection of around 1,000 albums, going back to the late 1950s. The disks are mostly well cared for since I used to use a carbon fibre brush before every playing and I always had relatively good cartridges and turntables. (Grado/Lux).
