Newbie to this forum. Thanks for opportunity to post. I'm the original owner of a Sansui G9000DB purchased in 1978, considered by many to be among the finest of all vintage Japanese receivers. It's still in high demand and would be easy to sell for probably 50% more than I bought it for (probably about $800). For several reasons (size, care, maintenance, age, etc.), I'm considering replacing it with something along the lines of an Onkyo A-9555 (I don't need a tuner).
Revel Salon (mk1) spare units out of stock from the factory (because all are lost!) !
Hi
i'm french , sorry for my English,
i have a pair of revel salon (MK1) from several year (i'm the first owner) and since 4 month i have one midrange driver out of order.. and Revel don't have solution for the moment because they lost all spare units during the move of the factory
I think it's an incredible story and not adapted with this class of speakers. for the moment, i don't know when my speaker will be ok....
i hope soon...

The fellow must be smoking dope...He just signed a trillion dollar pork bill funded with money we do not have. This new thing spends another $75 billion in printing press dollars.
I guess 'living within our means' does not mean government, again.
I do not know if this is a winner or loser. The DOW dropped about 40 points as he spoke and now is selling flat for the day so the markets have not made up their minds yet.
A review of speakers costing $100,000 is relevant to who?
First I did not mean to "hijack" the thread. I really enjoy reading my monthly issue of Stereophile but a review of speakers costing $100,000 is relevant to who?
Like I stated before the high end audio market will be flat or decrease because of the reasons stated but in addition to that todays artists are "products" and not musicians. Does it matter if you listen to Madonna and Spears on an iPod or good system? Are you really going to hear things you never heard before?
