In my last post (and the story of why it was so long ago is an epic which I won't go into now), I observed that the listener I am today is a completely different critter than the one I was years ago. It's inevitable that time, experience, and liff its ownself change us—and change the way we perceive art.

Has Blue Note ever corrected the Norah Jones Come Away With Me SACD?

John Marks wrote in The 5th Element #26 and JA confirmed that on the original release of this Norah Jones SACD Blue Note apparently produced the two-channel version by running the resolution-limited and bandwidth-limited CD data through a DSD converter. JM concluded Blue Note should admit the mistake and replace the old pcm based discs.

Hi,

15 years ago when I was in the US I was an avid SP subscriber. Since then I have returned home, to Greece, and discontinued, since I served the army and took me a while to setup the equipment i brought along. It is pretty outdated, but at the time quite descent sounding:
