Tracking Force of Nature: TechDAS, Kroma, Engström, Wadax, Jorma

TechDAS turntables appeared in several rooms. In Room F219, I was particularly taken with the Korf tonearm and the intricate latticework design of the Exquisite Vord Cartridge.

The TechDAS Air Force V Premium turntable ($17,000, all prices approximate when converted from Euros) and Korf TA-AF10 tonearm ($2800) were fitted with the Exquisite Vord Cartridge ($6600), which fed an Engström M-Phono phono stage ($29,000). A Wadax Studio player ($39,800) completed the front end.

Amplification came from an Engström Monica preamplifier ($60,000) connected to an Engström Eric Encore stereo power amp ($160,000), driving Kroma Atelier standmount speakers ($88,000/pair).

Jorma Statement Series cables included a 3m pair of XLR interconnects ($27,800) and two 1.5m XLR interconnects ($18,300 each), along with a 1.2m Phono Reference cable ($4200). Power cords were priced at $11,900 (3m), $8300 (1.5m), and $17,900 (5m). A Jorma Power Filter Reference conditioner ($31,900) was also in the system.
