Like most people who spend a lot of money on their audio equipment, I want to get the most out of it. Also like most people here, I can tell a poorly mastered digital source when I hear one. I'm wondering if there are any labels, studios, etc. that are known for consistently producing well-mastered CDs that are closely faithful (i.e., high fidelity!) to the original performance. I haven't been able to pick up any noticeable pattern in my relatively small collection of CDs.
. . . but I've read enough comic books to know you shouldn't go mixing matter and antimatter. However, that's exactly what these guys have done in producing positronium.
