Might even go apeshit and bring a mini-system for after hours partying. Is that allowed?

Audio vs. Video
The two fields present us with tendencies that are conflicting, one relative to the other.
In the video realm, the aim is towards a higher quality image & experience: from the standard resolution (800x640) to high-definition (1920x1080), from the 35mm film frame to imax (38720x24120 pixels/frame), even the home set-up is improved with a variety of plasma/LCD/projector displays and with the new generation of Blu-ray disks.

One of the premises JA offered in support of concern about the future of the high end was the increasing median age of Stereophile subscribers over time. I don't know how many subscribers the magazine has currently, but as I note the growth in the number of registered users of the forum and recognize that birth date is included in the registration I'm curious how the distribution of forum users by age might be panning out. My guess is that it might offer a more hopeful picture.
