I've been lurking around here a bit. Thought I'd make my first post. I've been interested in the Rogue Audio Cronus integrated tube amp. I finally got a chance to listen to it last week in Austin (as the only dealer in TX is there). I loved what I heard. I've pretty much decided that will be my next purchase, I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice on speakers that may pair well with that amp for around a $1500 price point. The only input will be a Rega P3 turntable through the Cronus' built in phono stage. Any suggestions will be welcome.

What's yur opinion:

A guy by the name of Grant Hanley (rstytnsp ebay name)(San Fransisco area)sold a friend of mine audio equptment on ebay in December of 2005 the stated cost was $5,000. My friend (not a native speaker) double wired payment. So he ended up paying an extra $5,000. Wire tranfer was the only way Hanley would do business. My friend trusted this guy. My friend sent numerous emails and a letter from a lawyer and recieved no reply. It has been 10 months now and Hanley still has the money.
Any information on Hanley would be greatly apreciated and kept in confidence.
