New member here, just returning to hifi after a long absence. Im putting together s system on a limited budget using ebay, i know its not the best way but ive asembled a Creek Evo and NAD C352 so far and im very pleased. The next step is speakers and im curious if anybody remembers the B & W DM 3000 model ?

There's a thread on another section here about Ambience Loudspeakers, and it struck me as a tough choice for a name.

If I were out shopping and a salesman asked if I was interested in some Ambience speakers, my first response would be, "No, I'm not into home theater. I'd like some for actually listening to."

Berning always struck me as tough, too. How would most people reply when asked if they were interested in a Berning amp?

I'd ask for one that wasn't Berning.
